College Athletes.....
On the heels of Maurice Clarrett blabbing his mouth about receiving gifts and crap at Ohio State. Don't get me started on this stupidness. Clarrett thinks this will clear his name so he can get drafted. What would get him drafted was for him to pass his classes and play college football. Clarett I would say isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Well on the issue of collegiate athletics and bribary, etc. Comes this story of Memphis Basketball Players. Check it out here. So while these homeboys are playing some ball their appartment gets jacked. Mink coats, throwback jerseys worth 3000 bucks. Holy crap, they certainly bought this crap from those jobs they work. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Another jewel from this article, is that that they list trousers/pants as a category of stolen items. Whoever typed that in needs to be given a raise. Trousers, another great word.
College Athletics we know that cheating goes on. We try to say our favorite school doesn't do it, and I wished that. But more than likely, they all do it. No one is exempt, its about money and winning. And winning brings money. And money goes to players, and players by mink coats, and mink coats get stolen. And now thieves are wearing mink coats in Memphis.
The revolving circle of Collegiate Athletics.
Tonight I am going to see some High School athletics. I think less money is involved in this brand of sport. Off of that subject and onto the subject of football playoffs. The time of the year that football gets good, games mean a lot, and for some reason, it always gets cold. I mean cold, tonight will be the first real cold one. The wind will be howling, there will be chill in the air.
Tonight I am heading out to see my old high school play. My old school, Crandall, whose mascot is of the Pirate variety. Donning the black and gold (by gold I mean yellow) they will play the Mount Vernon insert name of mascot heres. I will get to see my friends most of whom will get to suit out and stand on the sidelines.
That is tonight, the great thing about the playoffs is there are games all the time. Tomorrow I will probably go to a game, and If I get lucky I maybe will get to go see 2 or 3 games on Saturday. There are some good games at Texas Stadium but I probably won't get to go. Too Bad.
Okay unless I find something in my brain or on this here computer to post. I am gone, out into the chill, to freeze, and watch football.
-Out, Austin style.
p.s. I need a cool closing, post comments on what it should be.

the NCAA is the biggest cartel in the world...who cares if the actual people who bring in the revenue (the players) make money.
